Dear Friends,

It has been many years since the tragic death of our 4 year old son, Jake. With the generous help of many caring friends who have donated their time and effort, we have recently formed the "Jake Reish Memorial Foundation, Inc." The "4Jake" Foundation is a registered 501c3 charitable organization whose broad mission is to improve the lives of underserved children by creating access to education and extra-curricular activities in the name of our taken son.  The number of children who will benefit from the foundation is contingent on the success of our fund-raising efforts.  We imagine that funds could be used to create a scholarship, donate to a children's hospital or to improve the recreational facilities within the community in which he was never able to play. 

The first annual 4Jake Golf outing at Hudson National Golf Club occurred on Jake's 5th birthday and was wildly successful.  Thanks to the generous time, effort, and donations of family and friends, the foundation was able to raise enough money to reach our goal.  The Children's Program Room at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library will be dedicated "Jake's Room, a gift from the family and friends of Jake Reish, in his loving memory."  It was through the kindness and support of the friends of the 4Jake Foundation, that this room could be created, to help his memory burn brightly for eternity.
