Jake Reish was born on June 24, 2008 in Mt. Kisco, NY. He gave all who knew him a lifetime of love during his short stay on earth.  Jake loved airplanes, Play-doh, his DaDa, his EE, his Jackie, his Nicky and his puppy, Reggie. With his unforgettable smile, Jake brought joy to everyone he met. Jake was taken from his loving family on October 1, 2012.

In the name of his eternal impact on their lives, Erin and Tim Reish have established “The Jake Reish Memorial Foundation, Inc.” The “4Jake” Foundation is a registered 501c3 charitable organization whose broad mission is to improve the lives of underserved children by creating access to education and extra-curricular activities in Jake’s name. The number of children who will benefit from the foundation is contingent on the success of the foundation’s fund-raising efforts.

Jake's memory is devoted to two projects this year.  Jake's preschool, Scarborough Presbyterian Children's Center, has a playground in need of refurbishment to allow safe play by the children.

Additionally, Briarcliff's Little League field at Ryder Park is in need of a practice facility.  Both of these projects accommodate and foster a spirit of giving, collaboration, and sportsmanship in Jake's name.  The 4Jake Foundation is prepared to donate to both of these worthy causes to help enhance the lives of the children in this community and to provide a fitting tribute to Jake.
